Who we are

Creative Union is founded by Timothy Mitanidis and Claudia Bader in 2013.

We are a multidisciplinary design collaborative, with members who have trained in Europe and North America. We focus on livable residential and commercial architecture.

What we do

  • Laneway suites are detached buildings located behind existing homes that are intended to provide additional rental space to low rise residential lots.

  • Phase 1

    Pre-Design

    includes Research, Survey, Geotech etc.

  • Phase 2

    Schematic Design

    includes Initial Design with 3D models and presentation drawings

    Zoning Certificate + CofA submission

  • Phase 3

    Design Development

    includes Design Development Drawings, Building Permit Drawings and Consultant Coordination

    Building Permit submission

  • Phase 4

    Construction Documentation

    includes Construction Drawings, Technical Specifications (Ready for Building)

  • Phase 5

    Construction Administration

    includes Site Supervision, As-Built Drawings, Final Reports

The infogram above gives a visual description of a typical architectural process in Ontario. Project work is divided into 5 distinct phases. Each project has its own scope and budget and is individually priced accordingly.
