Our project brief for the Toronto-based, globally focused think-center, was to create a highly adaptable studio space for a wide range of creative explorations.

Transformable elements, such as a pop-up stage and large movable partitions are deployed strategically to enable a high degree of differentiation across the subtle calming interior. Presentation areas, breakout spaces, service rooms, and storage, all emerge and recede from the minimally expressed perimeter enclosure without disrupting or distracting from the variety of activities potentially taking place. Special attention was paid to acoustic floor and ceiling treatments, which adds to the sense of serenity in the workshop and directing focus to the stunning content being created or present within.
