The clients of this narrow 1150 sq.ft. house approached the designers with the idea of expanding their livable space. As a young growing family, they initially thought of a third floor addition. The idea was quickly abandoned because of maximum density restrictions.

The two story back addition was proposed to add as much living area as possible. Entire three floors were renovated to add efficient circulation, storage and light to the interior of the house.
